Yellowstone National Park is a national park located primarily in the U.S. state of Wyoming. Yellowstone is known for being the first national park in the world and for its wildlife and geothermal areas, the most popular of which is the Old Faithful Gesyer.
It has one of the largest high-altitude lakes in North America, known as Yellowstone Lake. Yellowstone Falls consist of two major waterfalls on the Yellowstone River within the park, the Upper Falls and the Lower Yellowstone Falls which is 308 feet high.
Liberty Cap is a 37-foot hot spring cone situated in the northern portion of Mammoth Hot Springs, at the bottom of Lower Terraces.
The Old Faithful Inn is made entirely out of tree trunks and was built during the winter of 1903-04.
