KING CANYON NATIONAL PARK

Kings Canyon National Park is in the southern Sierra Nevada California, USA.  The park consists of two areas, the General Grant Grove famous for General Grant Tree, the second largest at 267 feet and close to 1,650 years old.  The rest, 90% of the park forms the headwaters of the South and Middle Forks of the Kings River and the South Fork of the San Joaquin River.  There are many other attractions within the park.

We visited here in May 1997 and June 1998.
